The Solace Clinic address book update guide

Update guide

This page shows how to set up our doctors so referrals reach us. It takes about five minutes. Our doctors appreciate your assistance with this.

Special Notes:

  • Dr Alice Livings and Dr Sorab Shavaksha have moved to The Solace Clinic from another clinic. If your software still has them at a previous practice (SCHOC), please delete or update those entries to the below SOLACE details. To reach the doctor, referrals must be sent to The Solace Clinic.
  • Dr Jacinta Perram is new to the Sunshine Coast, she will need to be added for a first time. She has two provider numbers, one for Maroochydore and one for Noosa. Please setup both noting the location clearly. If in doubt, Maroochydore is the main location.
  • Prof James O’Beirne works in both public and private. You will need to enter James O’Beirne for the first time under SOLACE. Public referrals to James will be to Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.

  1. Open Contacts: View > Contacts, or press F11.
  2. Search for the doctor by surname.
  3. If they’re already listed, select the entry and click Edit. If not, click Add New.
  4. Update the address, phone, fax and email to the details above.

Already have a second entry for the same doctor at an old address? Update the old one rather than adding another, so staff can’t pick the wrong one.

MedicalDirector Clinical

  1. Open the Address Book: File > Address Book, or press Ctrl + K.

  2. Find the doctor, highlight the entry and click Edit Entry. If they’re not listed, add a new person.

  3. Update the address, phone, fax and provider number to the details above, then click OK.

  4. Delete any old entries for the same doctor so they can’t be selected by mistake.

You’ll need address book permissions for these steps.

Genie, Gentu and other software

Search Medical Objects for “The Solace Clinic”, or for the doctor’s name or provider number. Then update your address book entry with the details above.
