Dr Jacinta Perram

Dr Jacinta Perram is an Australian consultant haematologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of malignant and non-malignant blood disorders.

Dr Perram studied at the University of Sydney and completed specialist haematology training at Royal Prince Alfred, St Vincent’s and Concord Hospitals, followed by fellowships in transplantation and cellular therapy. Before relocating to the Sunshine Coast, she worked as a haematologist at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.

She has extensive experience in the management of lymphoma, myeloma, leukaemia and myelodysplastic syndromes, with particular expertise in myeloproliferative neoplasms, including essential thrombocythaemia, polycythaemia vera and myelofibrosis.

Dr Perram also has experience in transplant medicine and provides ongoing follow-up for patients following allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Her other clinical interests include thrombosis, antiphospholipid syndrome and immune-mediated disorders, including haemolysis and immune thrombocytopenia.

Dr Perram values clear communication and works collaboratively with GPs and other specialists to provide coordinated care. She takes a personalised approach to each patient’s treatment, with a focus on clear explanations, practical guidance and continuity of care.

She also collaborates with other specialists to oversee infusions, including IVIg, iron and biologic therapies.
