Yes, absolutely. You're welcome to bring a family member, friend or carer with you to your appointment or treatment. We encourage you to have someone with you for support, whether that's for company, to help take in information, or simply for reassurance.

Yes. Our team can assist with transferring your care from another provider. Because consultation, treatment and pharmacy are all provided onsite, we can support a smooth transition from your first consultation through to ongoing treatment. We will work with your current provider and referring doctor to ensure continuity of care. Please contact our team if you would like more information about transferring your treatment.

Please bring any imaging or test results your doctor may not already have, a list of your current medications, and your Medicare card and health fund details. If there's anything else you think may be relevant to your care, please bring that along too.

Yes. Your doctor will go through your treatment in detail, but we recognise this can be a lot to take in. Before you start treatment, we offer a dedicated education session with one of our specialised nurses, followed by pharmacy education from one of our pharmacists. From there, you'll have ongoing education and the opportunity to ask questions throughout your treatment, from your specialist, nurse and pharmacist. Our team also has a range of support options available.

Yes. Alongside haematology and oncology, The Solace Clinic provides hepatology services and a private liver cancer clinic. We also provide supervised infusion services for patients under the care of other specialists, including neurology and gastroenterology.
